Myths and legends of Igrexa Vella (Valga)
Is there a fountain here that never runs out of water?
The church that used to be here was dedicated to Saint Comba. When the excavations began, a spring was discovered. Legend has it that water flows from a spring at the very spot where Saint Comba’s head was buried, a spring that will never run dry. Could it be true that the remains of the saint are indeed buried here?
